The Mac's X11 client was not designed to easily connect to remote systems. MacLIVE offers a simple graphics user interface to set up connections to remote Unix or Linux hosts. Once connected, the user simply clicks a variety of session types to display--GNOME, KDE or CDE desktops, even rootless windows in which to display individual remote X apps. With session configurations stored on the host, you can connect from any PC and access your remote X sessions.
