Recon-X for Exceed and Reflection X has been tested with:

• Exceed 7 through 2008
• Reflection X 10 through 12

Since Recon-X will function with most PC X servers, older editions of Exceed and Reflection X are also likely to perform correctly with Recon-X. Please test before you purchase.

Simple User Interface
Recon-X for Exceed comes with a simple graphics user interface that allows you to set up and edit multiple sessions to different Unix and Linux hosts.

Session Recovery
Adding Recon-X allows Exceed and Reflection X to reconnect to sessions on remote hosts after experiencing an otherwise fatal Windows, network or power failure.

Suspend/Resume
Using the 'Suspend' and 'Resume' buttons in the Recon-X session window, you can now manually suspend and resume your sessions. At some later point, simply re-launch the session and you'll be back where you left off. If the session was collecting data or running some kind of process, like a simulation, those processes will continue to run while the session is in suspended mode.

High-Sped Internet Connections
Thanks to compression, Recon-X sessions boost the speed of Exceed and Reflection X sessions to near LAN speed when connecting over WiFi, VPN DSL and other Internet connections.

Multiple Sessions
Recon-X allows you to connect to multiple hosts at the same time so you can have sessions running on more than one remote desktop.

Background Processing
Recon-X comes with background processing. This means that your application will continue to run and process data on the remote host after you have put the session in 'Suspend' mode.

Session Mobility
You can start a Recon-X session on your desktop computer, go to a lab, to a conference room or even home, recreate the same session on your second system and resume the session there.

Security
Recon-X sessions run through an SSH encrypted tunnel that allows you to connect securely over the Internet and through firewalls. We have also eliminated the round-trip traffic that X11 creates and which makes it slow over the Internet. You'll be amazed how fast your Internet connection to your remote host will work! Enjoy!
